TRANQUEBAR BISHOP MANIKAM LUTHERAN COLLEGE (TBML COLLEGE) The emblem of Tranquebar Bishop Manikam Lutheran College (TBML College) features a shield housing the motifs of an open book, a helm of a ship with a cross in the centre, a hand holding a torch with flame, the New Jerusalem Church Tranquebar, Fort Dansborg of Tharangampadi and the word ‘Faith’. The initials of the management ‘TELC’ crests the shield and below the shield, on a brown banner, the motto of the college in Latin ‘Amor Vincit Omnia’ (Eclogues by Virgil) meaning ‘love conquers all’ is inscribed. The year of establishment of the college is placed at the bottom. This assemblage is placed in a rectangle.
