BHARATHI ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (BASCW) The emblem of Bharathi Arts & Science College for Women (BASCW) features a portrait of Mahakavi Bharathi ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college ‘Love Hope Courage’ is written. Mahakavi Bhrathi is a nationalistic poet, who strived to awaken India from colonial slumber, empowering women, and fostering social equality.
