MODERN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT (MITM) The emblem of Modern Institute of Technology and Management (MITM) features a blue gearwheel inscribed with the name of the college housing the motifs of an open book and a traditional lamp in its counter. The pedestal supporting the wheel is inscribed with the initials of the college ‘MITM’ and its motto in Sanskrit ‘सत्यमेव जयते’ meaning ‘Truth Always Triumphs’. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
