KATRAS COLLEGE KATRASGARH (KC KATRASGARH)
KATRAS COLLEGE KATRASGARH (KC KATRASGARH) The yellow and orange emblem of Katras College Katrasgarh (KC Katrasgarh) features an open book placed on the lotus spread and supporting a rising sun ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit, which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’ (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’ and the name of the college in Devanagari. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels. Below the seal, on a slab, the year of establishment of the college is written. The lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
