GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE GODHRA (GEC GODHRA) The emblem of Government Engineering College Godhra (GEC Godhra) features a blue arch in the shape of a tomb inscribed with the name of the college and its place. This houses the motifs of three gear wheels, a pair of transmission towers and a red building with a dish antenna supported by a red banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्या परं दैवतम्’ (20, Nitishatakam, Bhartrihari) meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme God’. The year of establishment of the college is written below the banner. The gear wheels, the towers and the building with antenna refer to the subject disciplines of engineering, technology and science.
