GOVERNMENT COLLEGE FOR WOMEN BHIWANI (GCW BHIWANI) The emblem of Government College for Women Bhiwani (GCW Bhiwani) features a light blue circle housing an image of Goddess Saraswati, ensconced by a blue circle inscribed with the name and place of the college. The motto of college in Sanskrit ‘विद्या ददाति विनयम्’ (Narayan Pandit, 6, Hitopadesha), which translates to ‘Education Makes One Humble’ is written on a light blue banner placed below the seal. Goddess Saraswati is the God of wisdom, knowledge, music, art and learning. She is depicted holding a veena and seated on a lotus blossom, symbolising the enlightenment that replaces ignorance. The lotus represents purity, spiritual growth and the blossoming of a student's potential despite worldly obstacles.
