SHYAM SAI INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION, MAIRWA (SSIE MAIRWA) The emblem of Shyam Sai Institute of Education, Mairwa (SSIE Mairwa) features an orange circle housing the motifs of an open book supported by a flaming torch, ‘SAI’  monogram and the text ‘SAI’. The motifs are surmounted by the motto of the college. The circle is ensconced by a maroon circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its place. The book represents formal education, knowledge, learning and the pursuit of literacy; and the torch symbolises enlightenment, the awakening of intellect and the dispelling of the darkness of ignorance through education.
