BHARATHI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, RANCHI (BCE) The emblem of Bharathi College of Education, Ranchi (BCE) features an open book ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘स्वाध्याय स्वावलम्बन समृद्धि’ which translates to ‘Self-study, Self-reliance, Prosperity’ and embedded on a golden plaque. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels on the sides and by a red banner inscribed with the name of the college at the bottom. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
