MAULANA AZAD COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (MACET) The green colour emblem of Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology (MACET) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of a computer, a water dam, a pair of gearwheels and a transmission tower. On a banner placed above the shield, the motto of the college in Arabic ‘رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا’ (Surah Ta-Ha, 20:114) meaning ‘O my Lord, Advance Me in Knowledge’ and the banner placed below the seal is inscribed with the name of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the motifs refer to the subject disciplines of science, engineering and technology; and the colour signifies the religious affiliation of the college.
