AKHIL BHARATIYA MARATHA AHIKSHAN PARISHAD'S ANANTRAO PAWAR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & RESEARCH (ABMSPCOER) The emblem of Akhil Bharatiya Maratha Ahikshan Parishad's Anantrao Pawar College of Engineering & Research (ABMSPCOER) features a portrait of Chhatrapati Shivaji ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘उतिष्टत जाग्रत प्राप्यवरान् निवोधत’ (Mantra 14, Valli 3, Chapter 1, Kathopanishad - part of the dialogue between Yama and Nachiketa) meaning ‘Get up, Wake up and Listen to the Boons you have Received’. The circle is crested by a hand holding a Bichuwa (or Bichawa) (war knife or dagger), famously associated with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Maratha warriors and supported by a blue banner inscribed with the name of the Trust in Devanagari.
