BHARAT COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, KATHUA (BCE KATHUA) The emblem of Bharat College of Education, Kathua (BCE Kathua) features an orange shield housing an open book with a flaming torch ensconced by a red and black circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. A pair of green laurels support the shield. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the flaming torch represents the enlightenment of the mind, the spreading of knowledge and the removal of the darkness of ignorance through education; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
