GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE, GOOL (GDC GOOL) The emblem of Government Degree College, Gool (GDC Gool) features a green open book with a pencil supporting a yellow rising sun surmounted by a blue banner inscribed with the name of the college. The motifs are supported by a pair of lighted green candles and a blue banner inscribed with the name of the college in Urdu ‘گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج گول’. A pair of red laurels support the seal. The book symbolises the pursuit of knowledge, learning, and academic excellence; the rising sun with rays spreading outward represents the enlightenment and clarity that education brings to the mind, actively dispelling the darkness of ignorance; the pencil symbolises creativity, expression and the practical application of learning; the lit green candles represent guidance, wisdom and a beacon of hope meant to illuminate the paths of the students; and the red laurels represent victory, honour and academic achievement.
