SUBHAM COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, VILVARAYANALLUR (SCE) The emblem of Subham College of Education, Vilvarayanallur (SCE) features a glowing traditional lamp placed on a lotus supported by the name of the place of the college and ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its managing body in Tamil. Below the seal, on a red banner, the motto of the college ‘கற்றனைத் தூறுமறிவு’ (396, Thirukkural, Thiruvalluvar) meaning ‘Knowledge will Flow to the Extent of the Education Acquired by the People’. The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.
