STEPHENS INSTITUTE OF PARAMEDICAL SCIENCES (SIPS) The emblem of Stephens Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SIPS) features the motifs of a profile of a nurse, a greek cross and a cupped leaves housing the image of the Staff of Caduceus. These are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Rising Knowledge With Care’ and supported by a banner inscribed with the name of the college. The figure of a female nurse wearing a classic nursing cap and uniform represents the core values of the profession: dedication, clinical care and the human touch central to nursing and paramedical services. The Greek cross is a universally recognised foundational symbol for medical care, first aid and healthcare infrastructure.
