GOA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL (GDCH) The emblem of Goa Dental College and Hospital (GDCH) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of a tooth, and a dental tool used by the dentists crested with the flame of torch and placed on the map of the State of Goa. The motto of the college ‘Excel to Serve’ is inscribed below the motifs. A pair of laurels support the shield. The name of the college is written on red banner placed below the shield. The shield refers to protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the tooth and tool refer to the medical profession of dentist; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
