NEW GANDHI MEMORIAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, JAMMU (NGMCE JAMMU) The emblem of New Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Jammu (NGMCE Jammu) features a circle with a mountain range with peaks with rising sun housing the motifs of an open book, a lighted candle, ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्या ददाति विनयम्’ (Narayan Pandit, 6, Hitopadesha), which translates to ‘Education Makes one Humble’ is inscribed on a purple banner placed below the seal.
