RVS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, JAMSHEDPUR (RVSCET) The emblem of RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur (RVSCET) features a flower-spread supporting a circular seal with the motifs of a gearwheel, computer, an open book with inkpot and quill pen, a lotus supporting a lamp and a dish antenna. The motifs are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college. A spanner and hammer and a pair of gears are placed on the left and right of the seal respectively. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) translates to ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’ is inscribed on a banner placed below the seal.
