ASAN MEMORIAL COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCE (AMCAS) The emblem of Asan Memorial College of Arts & Science (AMCAS) features an abstract red and blue pictorial of the letter ‘A’ depicted as three flying birds or an open book. The flying birds symbolise freedom, optimism, spirituality, joy, transition, hope, divine messages, or the liberation; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration; and the colour blue serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
