GOA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY (GCP)

GOA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY (GCP) The emblem of Goa College of Pharmacy (GCP) features traditional pharmaceutical and regional symbols that represent healing, medicine and its heritage. The Bowl of Hygieia (Snake and Cup) represents a medicinal potion or the preparation of healing remedies; the snake symbolizes rejuvenation, wisdom, and healing, as snakes were seen to ‘renew’ themselves by shedding their skin. It is named after Hygieia, the Greek goddess of health and hygiene. While her father, Asclepius, was the god of medicine (associated with the single-snake rod), Hygieia focused on the prevention of sickness and the art of maintaining good health. The green cross is a globally recognised symbol for healthcare and pharmacies, representing medical and humanitarian aid. The motto ‘Excellence in Pharma Education’ reflects the college's goal of training world-class pharmacists.

P.E.S 'S RAJARAM AND TARABAI BANDEKAR COLLEGE OF PHARMACY (PES RTBCP) The emblem of P.E.S 's Rajaram and Tarabai Bandekar College of Pharmacy (PES RTBCP) features a red gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college houses the motifs of a vial of medicine, a pestle with mortar, a microscope, an open book supported by a pair of hands, an abstract human and a laboratory flask with a herb. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the human refers to the stakeholders of the college; and the other motifs refer to medicines and their development and preparation.

GOMANTAK AYURVEDA MAHAVIDYALAYA AND RESEARCH CENTRE (GAMRC) The blue colour emblem of Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya and Research Centre (GAMRC) features a pair of hands holding a Staff of Hermes entwined by a pair of serpents and sprouting a pair of green leaves. Glow rays emerge from the Staff and on a scroll placed below the hands the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः’ (1.4.14, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad ) meaning ‘May All be Healthy’. The college’s year of establishment is written below. These are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The Staff of Hermes with a pair of entwined snakes and wings denotes medicine and medical profession; and the leaves symbolise life, growth and rejuvenation.

PADRE CONCEIÇÃO COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (PCCE) The emblem of Padre Conceição College of Engineering (PCCE) features a circle housing an image of Padre Conceição and the motifs of a gearwheel and three computer monitors displaying three different engineering applications. The circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. An inkpot with quill pen, a book and an open book inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Love Thy Neighbour as Thyself’ are placed below the seal. The ink pot and the pen . Together, they represent literary creation, knowledge, and the transformation of raw ideas into enduring thought; the books denote knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology.

MADHAV INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE (MITS) The emblem of Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) features a light blue circle inscribed with the motifs of sun supported by a pair of serpents on the sides placed over a waterbody with a boat and ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the name of the college in yellow. On a banner, placed below the seal, the motto of the college ‘Work is Worship’ is written. The year of the establishment of the college is written at the bottom. The sun symbolises knowledge, enlightenment, and the source of all energy; the serpents are ‘Nagas’ flanking the sun in the context of the Scindia family symbolise protection, power and heritage; and the boat and waves symbolises the journey of life or the crossing of the ‘ocean of ignorance’ to the ‘shore of knowledge’.

JABALPUR ENGINEERING COLLEGE (JEC JABALPUR)

JABALPUR ENGINEERING COLLEGE (JEC JABALPUR) The emblem of Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC Jabalpur) features a maroon shield with yellow details and outline inscribed with an airplane surmounted by the name and place of the college and supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Onwards On Wings’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the maroon colour symbolises strength, confidence and controlled passion. The stylised aircraft, which is directly linked to the college's historic and continuing strength in Electronics and Telecommunication (E&TC). JEC was the first institute in India to offer a bachelor's degree in this field and has long-standing ties to defense establishments.

SHRI GOVINDRAM SEKSARIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE (SGSITS) The emblem of Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) represents the institution's commitment to technical education and its core values. The centre of the emblem features a factory chimney and electrical transmission towers, which represent the institute's strong focus on industrialisation, power and engineering excellence. The gearwheel surrounding the central image is a universal symbol for technology, mechanical progress, and engineering. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘आचारः प्रथमो धर्मः’ (Brahmaparva, Bhavishya Purana) inscribed on a golden ribbon meaning ‘Code of Conduct is the Foremost Virtue’. The outermost circle contains the full name and place of the college. It has a legacy as one of Madhya Pradesh's oldest technical institutions.
