BOKARO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (BIT BOKARO) The emblem of Bokaro Institute of Technology (BIT Bokaro) features abstract pictorials of an open book, a ‘S’ curve, a human figure reaching for the star in the National Colours India. The five-pointed three dimensional star is in multi-colours. The motifs are ensconced by a circular border with blue outlines inscribed with the name and motto of the college. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) translates to ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’.
