Gurukul College of Education (KCGCE Jammu) features a flying bird symbolises freedom and ambition, representing the institution's primary vision of providing roots and wings to students. The bird is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the text ‘KC Gurukul Public School, Jammu’ and the motto of the college ‘In Pursuit of Excellence’. The colour maroon symbolises youthful energy, vigour, passion and determination required to attain goals and the colour gold or yellow symbolises illumination, wisdom, intellectual clarity and success.

CSIR-NATIONAL METALLURGICAL LABORATORY (NML) The blue colour emblem of CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML) features a gear wheel with four spokes, a lamp of Florence Nightingale in the middle and its name on the wheel’s border in blue colour. The oil lamp and its yellow and orange flame refers to compassion, reliability and goodwill, which all attributes significant to the practice of Scientific research.

THAKUR DHARAM SINGH COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, KATHUA (TDSCE KATHUA) The emblem of Thakur Dharam Singh College of Education, Kathua (TDSCE Kathua) features a yellow oval housing the motifs of the map of India, an open book and a pair of national flags surmounted by the motto of the college  in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’. The oval is surmounted by an orange border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The map represents national unity, integration and the institution’s underlying commitment to serving the country; the open book universally signifies the pursuit of higher learning, knowledge and wisdom; the national flags emphasise deep-seated patriotism and civic pride.

HIMALAYAN COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, RAJOURI (HCE RAJOURI)

HIMALAYAN COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, RAJOURI (HCE RAJOURI) The emblem of Himalayan College of Education, Rajouri (HCE Rajouri) features a rectangular panel range of mountains supported by an open book and a dove with an olive branch. The motifs are ensconced by the name of the managing body of the college. The assemblage is surmounted by a red banner inscribed with the text ‘Enlightenment Mission’ and supported by a blue banner with the text ‘Peace Mission’. The mountain range represents the Pir Panjal and broader Himalayan geographical region where the society operates; the book serves as the universal symbol for education, literacy and continuous learning; the dove with olive branch represents peace and reconciliation.

SANT MELA SINGH COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, JAMMU (SMSCOE JAMMU) The emblem of Sant Mela Singh College of Education, Jammu (SMSCOE Jammu) features a pictorial supported by the name of the college on the right. The pictorial features a blue circle with a traditional lamp and an open book. These are ensconced by a pink circular border inscribed with the motto of the college in Gurmukhi ‘ਗਿਆਨੁ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਧੁਨਿ ਜਾਣੀਐ’ Guru Granth Sahib, Guru Nanak Dev Ji), which translates to ‘Spiritual Wisdom and Meditative Focus are Known through the Inner Divine Vibration’. The lamp serves as a universal symbol for enlightenment, the dispersion of darkness (ignorance) and the continuous pursuit of knowledge. The book emphasises academic excellence, strong moral foundations and the structured transmission of wisdom.
