GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE, MADHUBANI (GCE MADHUBANI) The blue colour shield-shaped emblem of Government Engineering College, Madhubani (GCE Madhubani) features a fish wheel with six fish forming its axils and ensconced by a layer of lotus petals and nibs of pen. The name of the college is written above the motifs and the national emblem of India is placed above and below the wheel. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the lotus petals symbolizes purity and the unfolding of knowledge; the nibs of pen symbolise creativity, communication, knowledge, education, authority, permanence and precision; and fish are symbols of fertility, prosperity, good luck and abundance.
