BISHOP PACKIAM AROKIASWAMY COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (BPACE) The emblem of Bishop Packiam Arokiaswamy College of Education (BPACE) features a shield housing the motifs of a radiating traditional lamp held by a pair of hands, an open book, eleven stars and the name of the college. A crown crests the shield and a banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Achieve Eminence’ supports it. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the radiating lamp symbolises enlightenment and the spread of knowledge; the book refers to knowledge, learning, education and wisdom; the stars represent achievement or guidance; the crown symbolises supreme authority, sovereignty, and royalty, power and legitimacy.
