THEIVANAI AMMAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (TACE) The emblem of Theivanai Ammal College of Education (TACE) features a shield housing the motifs of an open book with a quill pen and crested by a set of seven stars. On a blue banner placed on the shield at the bottom is inscribed with the name of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book with quill refers to education, learning and wisdom; and the set of seven stars refers to the Big Dipper, representing seven sacred sages (rishis).
