The blue and green circular insignia of Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT) has a shield with blue and white border, crested by a mortarboard hat and supported by a pair of laurels.  Banner is placed on the shield, on which its acronym ‘DA-IICT’ is inscribed. All these are ensconced by a blue circular border, which carries the name of the university. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

INDIAN GRAPE PROCESSING BOARD Keeping the above in mind and to co-ordinate the efforts for promotion and development of the wine industry in India in close association with industry, producers and other stakeholders, the Union Cabinet in its meeting held on January 2, 2009 gave its approval for the establishment of the Indian Grape Processing Board (IGPB) under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Board has its headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra that is close to the principal grape growing and processing areas in the country.
