The blue and green circular insignia of Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT) has a shield with blue and white border, crested by a mortarboard hat and supported by a pair of laurels.  Banner is placed on the shield, on which its acronym ‘DA-IICT’ is inscribed. All these are ensconced by a blue circular border, which carries the name of the university. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

SRMU is built upon the excellence of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges (SRMGPC) in engineering and business education. Its emblem has a red pot of nectar spewing out from a red vessel which has its motto ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’ meaning ‘Knowledge enjoys Immortality’ taken from Ishopanishad Verse 11, written on and supported by the blue globe with latitudinal and longitudinal lines.
