The emblem of Government College of Engineering, Bodinayakanur (GCEBodi) features a gopuram of a temple referring to divine blessings and benevolence; a building, a set of gear wheels, a planet, a computer, an electrical tower and a building representing the branches of engineering; ensconced by a circular border inscribed with its name. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels on sides; an open book inscribed with its tagline in Tamil ‘’ meaning . A lotus supports this assemblage. The laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; and the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
