The emblem of Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) features a monogram of its initials ‘DBIT’ forming a circle as a background supporting bust of Saint John Bosco at the center surrounded by the motifs of a gear and other technical and engineering elements, including a computer monitor, and circumscribed the Institute’s motto ‘Technology for the Young’ and its initials ‘DBIT’. The portrait represents the founder and the source of inspiration for the institution's educational philosophy; and the other motifs symbolise the focus on technical and engineering education.
