The black and green emblem of ICAR’s Indian Institute of Spices Research (ISRI) is a wordmark of its acronym in sans serif bold text, in which the letter ‘s’ is treated like a pod od black pepper representing one of the major spices. The dots of ‘i’s and counter loop of ‘r’ are treated as dried black pepper. The emblem is bold, direct and attractive.

VALLABHACHARYA TILAK The tilak of Vallbhacharyas is said to consist of two white lines down the forehead, forming a half-circle at its base and a white dot between them. Vallabhacharya (1479–1531 CE) was a devotional philosopher, who founded the Pushti sect in India, following the philosophy of ‘Shuddha Advaita’ (Pure Non-dualism). He wrote a very important commentary called ‘Shri Bhashya’. The Vallabhacharya sect worships Krishna in his character of Bala Gopala.

BUREAU OF POLICE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT The Government of India vide Resolution No.8/136/68-P.I (Pers.I) dated 28.08.1970 formally established the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), under the Ministry of Home Affairs giving a new orientation to then existing Police Research and Advisory Council in 1966 with the primary objective of modernization of police force: 1. to take direct and active interest in the issues, 2. to promote a speedy and systematic study of the police problems and 3. to apply science and technology in the methods and techniques used by police. NATIONAL SINGLE WINDOW SYSTEM The National Single Window System (NSWS) is a digital platform to guide you in identifying and applying for approvals according to your business requirements. The Know Your Approvals (KYA) module includes guidance for thirty two Central Departments and thirty two States. The portal hosts applications for approvals from twenty eight Central Departments and twenty State Governments. These approvals can be applied through NSWS. ATMIYA UNIVERSITY Atmiya University was established on April 13, 2018, under the Gujarat Private University Act 11, 2018. The gold and blue circular emblem of the university has a hexagram with blue lines and gold fillings holding a glowing sun with a motif of a learner with an open book with a lotus in the background.
