National Institute of Ayurveda, Deemed to be University (De novo) is an apex autonomous Institute under the aegis of Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. NIA was conferred the Deemed to be University status under De novo category on November 13, 2020 (Ayurveda Day). Its red and blue emblem has a global map of the world with a burning traditional lamp crested by a pedestal with palm leaf scriptures. The motto of the institute in Sanskrit ‘आयुर्वैध्यमक ज्योति शश्वत् नः प्रकाशनम्’ meaning ‘The Light of Medicine is an Eternal Revelation’ is written around the globe. These are ensconced by a border carrying its name in English and Devanagari and its place. The logo is put on a traditional pedestal. The status of the institute in blue ensconced the logo in Devanagari and English.

MAHATMA GANDHI UNIVERSITY KOTTAYAM The brown colour circular insignia of the Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam (MGUK) in  Kerala has a traditional spinning wheel of the charkha representing Mahatma Gandhi’s values in a circle. These are ensconced by a circular border, which carries its name and place. At the bottom on a bunch of palm leaf manuscripts its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया अमृतमश्नुते’ (Verse 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Knowledge Enjoys Immortality’ is inscribed. The charkha or spinning wheel, is a symbol of self-sufficiency, freedom and resilience. The charkha was popularised by Mahatma Gandhi, who used it as a metaphor for ancient work ethics and a symbol of economic and social reaction to British rule. NATIONAL SINGLE WINDOW SYSTEM The National Single Window System (NSWS) is a digital platform to guide you in identifying and applying for approvals according to your business requirements. The Know Your Approvals (KYA) module includes guidance for thirty two Central Departments and thirty two States. The portal hosts applications for approvals from twenty eight Central Departments and twenty State Governments. These approvals can be applied through NSWS.
