This circle is surrounded by the motifs of a computer, a dish antenna, a pair of electrical transmission towers, and a building referring to the branches of engineering courses offered by the college and a traditional lamp symbolising light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity. This assemblage is placed within a blue gearwheel referring to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure. The name of the college surmounts the gear and a green banner inscribed with its motto ‘வாய்மை தூய்மை மேன்மை’ meaning ‘Truth Cleanliness Growth’.
