Below the seal, the motto of the college in Latin ‘Technology Traverses Terestra’  meaning ‘Technology Moves the Earth’ is inscribed on a banner. The details of the sponsoring Society are written between the seal and banner. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

This features the map of the State of Jharkhand placed inside a gear wheel supported by a traditional lamp and surmounted by its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’ is placed inside a white circle.
