BHASKAR DEGREE COLLEGE, UDHAMPUR (BDC UDAMPUR) The emblem of Bhaskar Degree College, Udhampur (BDC Udampur) features a blue circle housing the motifs of a yellow rising sun, supported by an open book, ensconced by a white circular border with red and blue outlines at the top and supported by a blue circular banner at the bottom. The border is inscribed with the name of the college; and the banner is inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘असतो मा सद्गमय तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad), which translates to ‘From Unreal Lead Me to the Real. From Darkness Lead Me to Light’.
