A red banner inscribed with a Arabic prayer ‘رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا’, which translates to ‘O my Lord, Increase Me in Knowledge’ is placed below the motifs. The book symbolises formal education, literacy, and continuous learning ; and the lit candle symbolises the illumination of mind and soul, guiding students away from the darkness of ignorance through wisdom.
