VANAVIL ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE (VASC) The emblem of Vanavil Arts & Science College (VASC) features a leaf-shaped blue colour panel housing the letter ‘ॐ’ (Aum), a lotus and a stack of books. The panel is supported by a banner inscribed with the name of the college. Aum (ॐ) is the vibration by which the Supreme Spirit brings all things into manifestation; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the books refer to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.
