Below these the motto of the college in Devanagari ‘निःस्वार्थ मानव सेवा उत्तम है’, which translates to ‘Selfless Service to Humanity is the Highest Virtue’ is inscribed. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the tooth refers to the study of teeth and their healing; the Rods of Asclepius is an ancient Greek symbol of healing, featuring a single serpent wrapped around a staff and it represents the Greco-Roman god of medicine, Asclepius and remains the core emblem for modern healthcare organizations worldwide; and the book symbolises knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
