VIDYA MEMORIAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, RANCHI (VMIT RANCHI) The emblem of Vidya Memorial Institute of Technology, Ranchi (VMIT Ranchi) features the letters ‘VM’ over which, the motifs of an open book and a traditional lamp are placed. These are ensconced by a yellow ochre circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
