VATHSALA JOHNSON COLLEGE OF TEACHER EDUCATION (VJCTE) The emblem of Vathsala Johnson College of Teacher Education (VJCTE) features an open book supported by a thumbs up sign and crested by a flying pigeon with its wings spread. The motto of the college ‘Enter to Learn Go Forth to Serve’ is written on the sides. On a banner placed below the motifs, the initials of the college ‘VJCTE’ is written. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the thumbs up symbolises positivity, approval, achievement, satisfaction and solidarity; and the pigeon symbolises freedom, peace, love, and spiritual elevation, acting as a messenger of positive news and harmony across various cultures.
