VIDHYA VIKAS PLUS THE INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION (VVPTIE) The emblem of Vidhya Vikas Plus The Institute of Education (VVPTIE) features a gopuram, a crescent moon with star, a cross, an open book and a pair of lamps ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. A tiara crests the seal and a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘எம் பணி கற்றல் கற்பித்தல்’ meaning ‘Our work is to Learn and Teach’. The name of the college is written on the right of the seal. The symbols of different religions refer to the college’s universal outlook; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the tiara refers to royalty, status, power, wealth, beauty, victory and divinity.
