UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, JANGLOTE, KATHUA (UIET KATHUA) The emblem of University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Janglote, Kathua (UIET Kathua) features the seal of University of Kashmir - its parent university ensconced by a circular border in yellow and red inscribed with the name of the college and its motto in Sanskrit ‘विज्ञानं यज्ञं प्रचोदयात्’ (adapted from 2.5.1, Taittiriya Upanishad), which translates to ‘May May Our Intellect and Scientific Outlook Lead Us Towards Works (Yagya) for Public Welfare’.
