VALLUVAR COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND MANAGEMENT (VCSM) The emblem of Valluvar College of Science and Management (VCSM) features a blue circle housing a globe of the world, an image of poet Thiruvalluvar, an open book and ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the motto of the college. Below the seal, on a yellow banner, the motto of the college in Tamil ‘ஒழுக்கம் உண்மை உயர்வு’ meaning ‘Discipline Truth Excellence’ is written. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the poet Thiruvalluvar symbolises heritage, literature, and history.
