VAISHNO DEVI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, REASI (VDCE REASI) The emblem of Vaishno Devi College of Education, Reasi (VDCE Reasi) features a circle with a mountain range with peaks, rising sun, flowing rivers, clouds and flying birds; a hand holding a pen and writing on a book. The circle is ensconced by  a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The mountain peaks depict the peaks of the Trikuta Hills signifying the physical locale of the college in Reasi, which sits near the holy base camp of Katra. The clouds and sun above the mountains symbolise a serene, clear and pollution-free natural environment. The book is a universal representation of knowledge, academic pursuit, and enlightenment. The hand with a pen writing  on the book reflects the practical application of learning, teacher training and the active process of acquiring and passing on education.
