The circular seal of Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma (PMVK) in the National Tricolour has a motif of a peacock created using the worktools of the craftsman namely, a saw, a hammer, a spanner, a needle, a spade, a screwdriver and a scale. The name of the programme and its motto ‘सम्मान सामर्थ्य समृध्दि’ meaning ‘Respect Strength Prosperity’ are written in Devanagari circumscribing the motif.

At the bottom, a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘‘கற்றனைத் தூறும் அறிவு’ (Thiruvalluvar, 396, Thirukkural) meaning ‘Knowledge Grows As Much As One Learns’ is inscribed is placed on the seal. Athiyaman and Avvaiyar refer to history and heritage; the book, sun and the humans refer to education and educational achievement; the tree refers to nature, sustenance and growth; the computer refers to technology; and the dam refers to the local landmark.
