It has a white circular border on which its name is inscribed. These circles are ensconced by a blue circular border, which bears its name in Devanagari.

The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’.
