NEPA LIMITED The circular seal of Nepa Limited has five trees of two types supported by a red banner carrying its name in Devanagari and English and a reel of paper. These are ensconced by three concentric circles in dark red colour. The trees represent strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity.

SANT GAHIRA GURU VISHWAVIDYALAYA The circular emblem of Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (SGCG), formerly known a s Sarguja University has a circular border in orange and green and has its name, place and motto inscribed in Devanagari and supported by a pair of tribal ornaments. The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’. Inside the border, motifs of a drum, supported by a pair of horns; an open book topped by a red sun ; a banyan tree and a pair of crests of millets are placed. The banyan tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity; the sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the open book denotes knowledge, education, wisdom and learning and horns, drum and crests of millets denote tribal culture and food.

(REIL) has its acronym placed between two striped lines along with a depiction of electronic waves. The colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

CENTRAL WATER COMMISSION The circular seal of the Central Water Commission has a five petalled flower with a water dam, a powerline on sea water, a borewell pump, plants of cereal and a high tension transmission line each placed inside a petal. The flower is placed in an orange circle and this assembly is ensconced by a yellow circular border, on which its name in Devanagari and English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योति रसोऽमृतम’ meaning ‘May That Awakens Our Intelligence’ are inscribed. The motifs inside the petals refer to the applications of water in daily life of society.
DIRECTORATE GENERAL FIRE SERVICES
DIRECTORATE GENERAL FIRE SERVICES The circular emblem of Directorate General Fire Services has a red shield holding flames of fire housed in a blue circle. It is ensconced by a white border, which carries its motto in Sanskrit ‘त्राणाय सेवयामहे’ and ‘We Serve to Save’. It is surrounded by a glowing sun or fire over which the fourth or outer circle sits referring to extinguishing fire. These are placed inside four concentric circles with blue outlines. The red shield denotes protection, safety and courage in controlling and holding fire and the blue lines denote water which is antagonistic to fire.
