It is a practice among Tamils to write 'Pillaiyar Chuzhi' before writing anything. it is written with immense faith that writing this will help one complete the task without any obstacles and if at all any obstacle arises, it will be smoothly evened out by the grace of the Lord Ganesha. When ‘Jiva’ gets Godhood as Shiva it is called ‘involution’. Shiva is nothing but ‘Sath’ - existence or ‘Paramathma’. When he evolves into ‘Jiva’ with body, senses and ‘antahkaranam’ the process of evolution takes place. That thought is the starting point of 'Pillaiyar Chuzhi' in Tamil - of Shiva into a ‘Jiva’ Spiritually ‘Pillaiyar Chuzhi’ is the truncated form of the ‘pranava mantra’ ‘Aum’ which includes the three alphabets - akaram, ukaram , makaram in Sanskrit 'a','u','m '. ‘Aum’ is the ‘nada brahmam’, thefirst manifestation of ‘Brahman’ as sound.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi.
