The emblem of Ch. Bansi Lal Government College Loharu (CBLGC Loharu) features an orangish shield housing the image of Goddess Saraswati supported by a scroll inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ (Rishi Parāśara, 1,19.41, Viṣṇu Purāṇa), which translates to ‘Knowledge is the One That Liberates’. A traditional lamp with radiant flame placed on a lotus supports the scroll. The name of the college is written on a yellow banner placed below the shield. Goddess Saraswati is the God of wisdom, knowledge, arts and learning. The veena represents the harmony of mind, speech, and intellect, as well as the tuning of one's life to wisdom; the lotus seat symbolises supreme truth, purity and spiritual detachment; and the peacock represents discrimination (the ability to distinguish between good and bad or eternal and transient) and the overcoming of ego. The shield represents protection and strength, indicating that education acts as a safeguard against life's vulnerabilities; the lamp represents enlightenment, wisdom and the dispelling of darkness; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the orange gradient background symbolises purity, sacrifice, courage and the pursuit of higher learning.
