| GOVERNMENT COLLEGE KURAL (GC KURAL) |
The emblem of Government College Kural (GC Kural) features a circle housing an image of Goddess Saraswati, ensconced by a broad brown circular border inscribed with the acronym of the name of the college and its place in white bold sans-serif typeface. Goddess Saraswati is the God of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom and learning. Her presence signifies the institution's commitment to academic excellence and the spiritual and intellectual enlightenment of its students. She holds a veena, which represents the harmony of all arts and sciences. Symbolically, tuning the strings of the veena represents tuning one's mind and intellect to live in harmony with the world and master creative and intellectual expressions. Saraswati is seated on a blooming lotus flower. The lotus represents supreme knowledge, purity and detachment. Just as a lotus grows in muddy water but remains clean and beautiful, it symbolises rising above worldly impurities and ignorance through education.
