The light yellow and orange circular seal of E. G. S. Pillay Engineering College (EGSPEC) features a image of Lord Ganesha placed inside the Tamil letter ‘ஓம்’ and kept on a shield ensconced by a border inscribed with its name. On a banner placed below the shield,the name of the place of college is written. The shield is surmounted by the words ‘Work is Worship’ and ‘Truth Triumphs’ is written below the banner. All these are placed on a circle with a blue outline. Lord Ganesha refers to blessings and benevolence of the divine; the letter ‘ஓம்’ refers to Lord Murugan; and the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
