The emblem of KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT) features a sprocket wheel holding the motifs of a factory, a motor supported by a pair of power symbols and a weighing machine circumscribed with the name of the college, its place, and its motto in Sanskrit ‘अमृतं तु विद्या’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Nectar’. The sprocket wheel is placed in a circle with a red outline and a pair of green laurels support it. The sprocket wheel denotes mechanical precision, power transmission, movement, and progress; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the other motifs refer to the subject of engineering.

KONERU LAKSHMAIAH EDUCATION FOUNDATION Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF) has been deemed to be university since 2009. Earlier it was known as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering (KLCE) and Koneru Lakshmaiah University, located in Vaddeswaram, Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh. The red and blue emblem of the foundation has a gear wheel with twelve teeth of which nine bear the symbols of nine planets. It houses the motifs of a factory, atomic symbol, a bridge and a transmission tower within a circle. There is a border around the circle bearing its name and its motto ‘Knowledge Leadership Universality’. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure. The other motifs denote the fields of engineering the university offers to the students. The icons of nine planets may signify the relevance and wishes of the university to benefit from their movements.
