(Shree Mahesh Bank) has a blue Shiva Lingam with tripundra and a trishul placed on a red lotus inscribed with ‘ॐ’ supported by three bilva (bael or Aegle marmelos) leaves ensconced by a circular border inscribed with its name and place. The Shiva Lingam refers to power and creation; the lotus refers to purity, enlightenment rebirth and prosperity; the bael leaves refer to devotion, purity and divine favour and ‘ॐ’ refers to the essence of the universe, consciousness and ultimate reality.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla.
